About the Show:
The Stranger Conversations Podcast explores the lives and lessons of those around us, hidden in plain sight.
The show began in October 2020, after host Tay Jones put a years-long idea into action. The simple concept of “everyone has a story to tell and a life to share” was the catalyst for what’s now a recorded, open discussion with total strangers - the not-so-average that walk among us. Not only can people share their life’s adventures and the lessons they’ve learned along the way with the world, they can also promote whatever they want on the show (...and who doesn’t like free advertising?). If you’re ready to set up a conversation, we’ll give you the platform to speak your mind and discuss your thoughts!
About the Host:
The creator and host of the Stranger Conversations Podcast, Tay Jones, has spent most of his professional life in the world of communication. Instructing, speaking, storytelling, and building rapport and relationships in adverse conditions are just a few of his talents. He’s now bringing these skills into the world of podcasting, sharing the lives and lessons of those around us, hidden in plain sight.
Tay is described as an outgoing “people-person,” and an R-E-S-P-E-C-T specialist. His interview skills and ability to pull information out of people, allowing them to find themselves in an interview are key to his ability to speak with complete strangers and create compelling episodes. Not everyone can have an interesting, hour(s)-long conversation with someone they’ve never met and know nothing about, but that’s why not everyone hosts a podcast with this type of format.
The Stranger Conversations Podcast features off-the-cuff interviews with no pre-planned dialog or line of questioning. Tay allows you to sign up, talk about or promote whatever you’d like, and Hit Record on Your Life without prejudgment or preconceived ideas about you… because he doesn’t know you! When Tay says he’s here to learn and that each episode belongs to the guest that signed up, he means it.

You’ve signed up, which means you’ve already agreed to our terms and conditions and have agreed to be recorded. During this process, you’ve provided a phone number where we can contact you and have selected a date and time that works for you from our calendar.
You’ve done your part. Next, be with your phone on the date and time you selected… and that about covers it.
We will contact you and we will be recording when you pick up the phone – so be ready to hit record on your life!
I’ve Recorded My Episode, Now What?

Your episode of the podcast will likely be released within one to two weeks of recording, depending on backlog. We will be teasing your episode and posting to our social media and website. We may also be writing a blog about your episode. We will keep you in the loop and let you know when the episode is being released and will be available to the public.
